Miller Family

Ahhh yes what a fun morning this was!  With 50+ people it was quite a party and with this particular family we had quite a few laughs.  From interacting with them it was easy to tell that they are a close-knit family, even though they are separated by many miles - from Ohio to Georgia, to South Carolina and soon to be Pennsylvania.  And here they are...

The whole bunch...

I do believe that they had fun doing this!:)

'Many waters cannot quench love...'

On a rainy day in June, Ellis and Daniela said 'I Do'.  The day was a huge faith building experience.  We woke up to a steady drizzle.  I so wanted to take the pictures outside, but I came to the place where I thought that God wanted me to have more experience in indoor photography since there was no sign of the rain letting up.  By the time we got to the place to take pictures, it had stopped!  WOW, miracle #1.  Then as the bridal party were arriving and we were finishing up with the couple it just DUMPED!  So we headed to our backup place and ended up taking a few pictures under the porch and by that time it had stopped and we got to take the rest of them outside.  We even had time to head back to the first place and do a few bridal party pictures there.  Then just as we were finishing up again it let loose with another downpour.  And it rained all through the reception and ceremony, except for a little window of time before-hand where we were able to take a few others outside.  And by the time the couple was ready to leave it had stopped and we were able to take more pictures in the great outdoors.  Then true to form as we were getting ready to leave it rained again.  It was so, so awesome to feel God.  And to know that He cares about the little details of life.  The couple was so awesome to work with, and even with the big disappointment of not being able to have the reception outside to day was absolutely beautiful.  "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it" - The day was a very literal example of that!  Meet Ellis and Dani....

All the details, just made me happy!

The bridal party was a hoot!  There were many moments of laughter, and it just added to the whole 'happy' feeling of the day.

Sanford & Renita

And what a lovely day it was!  Me and my lovely assistant and sister, Debs, headed to GA to do this wedding.  I didn't know the couple (he's a cousin of my cousin if that makes sense).  But they are both very down to earth and incredibly easy to work with!  We were so blessed with clear, comfortable weather all day long and had an awesome time.  We have so many good memories from that weekend especially with the added bonus of getting to hang out with some of my best friends and of course making new friends.  Enjoy!

The Gorgeous bride!

Awww yes this group of people were quite the party! Many good laughs were had!

The lovely ladies

The bouquet was so beautiful!

I hope that God blesses you with many happy years together, Sanford and Renita!  It was very special to get to work with you!

It twas a beautiful cold day in March

This past March I was privileged to help my sister, Deb, shoot a wedding.  It was incredibly cold that day, so we ended up taking most of their pictures inside where it was nice and toasty.  The bride worked at our greenhouse for several years, so we got to know each other quite well, this made it especially fun to work with them.  Their joy was so contagious and added to the beauty of the day.  Enjoy the pictures and feel free to comment and tell me what you like and even what you don't like:).  And here they are - Craig and Becca....

I loved the details - as you can see:)

The sky was absolutely amazing! Add the couple and the road and you get one happy photographer!

And one more...
